So after sitting on it for 10 months, the Scandal Plagued University of Alabama has finally announced that they have received a Preliminary Letter of Investigation in May 2008. The investigation is said to center around the Textbook Scandal that resulted in the suspension of 5 players for 4 or 5 weeks of the 2007 season. However, the NCAA letter indicates there could be major infractions related to this and that it began in or before the 2005/2006 season.
